Process and incentives
1. Verify that you qualify as a small or medium business by entering your information into our customer size category tool (link below). If you need help, reach out to one of our Small and Medium Business Express contractors.
2. Choose a participating Small and Medium Business Express contractor.*
3. Identify lights you want to make more efficient at your facility. Your contractor can provide you with a proposal showing the estimated energy cost savings, incentive, and co-pay.
4. Sign the required documents provided by your chosen contractor. Then they will install your new energy-efficient products.
5. Your co-pay could be as little as 25% of total project costs. Rocky Mountain Power pays the remaining balance directly to the contractor.**
6. Enjoy your lighting upgrades and cost savings!

When participating in Wattsmart Small and Medium Business Express, you receive an incentive based on the total installed wattage and associated controls. Rocky Mountain Power pays up to 75% of project materials and installation directly to the contractor. This incentive shows as a credit on your invoice from the contractor. Customers do not receive a check or monetary payouts through this offer.
