Step 1: Large-Scale Service Request
The customer should contact us at Largeloads@PacifiCorp.com to receive the Customer Information Form and Financial Information Requirements. These complete documents need to be submitted to us through email. We'll let you know if there's any incomplete information.
Step 2: Submittal Requirements
A large load package is consider “Submitted” when the Large Load Engineering Service Agreement (LLESA) has been fully executed and payment has been received.
Step 3: Evaluation
Rocky Mountain Power accepts requests for large service on a continual basis in Wyoming.
Step 4: Engineering Study/Service Proposal
After completing the initial system impact study, Rocky Mountain Power (a division of PacifiCorp) will provide the customer with a written service proposal that will include:
- Required interconnection modifications and/or upgrades to the system
- Cost estimates for interconnection
- An estimated timeline for service
- Identify any necessary Transmission Service Requests (TSR)
For requests >200 MW,
- Incremental generation requirements
Step 5: Contract negotiation: Master Electric Service Agreement (MESA) or Special Contract
- 25-199 MW: Master Electric Service Agreement (MESA) or special contract if applicable
- >200 MW: Special Agreement
