Wyoming Outdoor Council’s grand opening

Blue Sky grant recipient opening their doors September 12

Rocky Mountain Power is excited to announce the grand opening of the Wyoming Outdoor Council’s new building in Lander, Wyoming. The Council’s mission is “to protect Wyoming’s environment and quality of life now and for future generations,” and they provide valuable work and resources to the community to help meet that goal.  They are a recent Blue Sky grant recipient and their new facility features a solar array and EV charging station, which will help reduce the costs of operating the facility while helping them meet their sustainability goals. The EV charging station will also be available for community use and will offer additional educational opportunities for the public.

The grand opening will take place on September 12, 2024, and will offer a variety of opportunities for the community to learn about the new building. Tours of the facility are regularly available as well, and offer valuable insight into the details of this project.
