Donate to energy assistance

Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time.

That’s why we support our neighbors and communities through energy assistance programs that help people facing financial hardships with their energy bills.

We match donations made by our customers to energy assistance programs, up to an annual cap per agency. These nonprofit programs include Lend A Hand in Utah and Idaho, and Energy Share of Wyoming.

Please consider helping those in need of energy assistance. 

Ongoing support: Enroll in one of our monthly bill donation options – either Fixed Donation or Small Change – by calling toll free at 1-888-221-7070. 

  • Contact us to add a fixed amount each month to your bill, matched by Rocky Mountain Power.
  • With Fixed Donation, a dollar amount of your choice will be added to your monthly bills. 
  • With Small Change, we’ll round your bill up each month to the next whole dollar and donate the change.

Donate by check: Send a donation check made out to the organization in your state and we'll match it:

Funds collected are forwarded directly to your state program along with Rocky Mountain Power's match. Contributions are tax-deductible.
