Houweling's Tomatoes

The 28-acre Houweling’s Tomatoes greenhouse in Mona, Utah, draws some of its heat and plant-nourishing carbon dioxide from the flue of our nearby Currant Creek Power Plant. Houweling's is also saving nearly $500,000 in annual energy costs with energy upgrades made through our Wattsmart Business program.

The Point

The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority and Rocky Mountain Power announced a landmark agreement to establish The Point as a global model for sustainable development. The agreement outlines ambitious goals for environmentally sustainable energy practices that will reduce emissions and energy use.
