Rocky Mountain Power partners with local community agencies across Wyoming to provide free weatherization services to income-qualified households. These energy-saving improvements can help reduce electricity usage, lower monthly energy bills, increase home comfort, and improve overall energy efficiency.

Customers who qualify for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) may also be eligible for the Wyoming Weatherization Program.

Available Weatherization Services

Weatherization services are tailored to each home's needs and may include a variety of energy-saving improvements, such as:

  • Ceiling insulation and ventilation improvements
  • Floor insulation
  • Wall insulation
  • Water pipe insulation
  • Ground cover installation
  • Duct insulation and duct sealing
  • Window replacement and weather-stripping
  • Door weather-stripping and thermal door improvements
  • Air sealing and infiltration reduction measures
  • Refrigerator replacement, when eligible
  • Water-saving measures, including aerators and showerheads
  • Energy-efficient LED lighting upgrades
  • Replacement window air conditioning units, when appropriate

A qualified weatherization professional will assess your home to determine which improvements may provide the greatest energy savings, comfort, and efficiency benefits. Recommended measures will vary based on the home's condition, energy usage, and program guidelines.

This approach helps improve home comfort, reduce energy waste, and lower utility costs for eligible households.

Households that qualify for Wyoming's Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) may be eligible for weatherization services.
