U.S. Energy Department gives $4 million grant to develop electric corridors along Utah, Wyoming and Idaho highways
Motorists with electric vehicles will soon be able to quickly charge those cars throughout Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. Rocky Mountain Power was selected for a $4 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop 1,500 miles of electric highway corridors along I-15, I-80, I-70 and I-84.
The cold temperatures are not stopping the sun from shining on Rocky Mountain Power’s new Subscriber Solar program. The 20-megawatt solar plant in Millard County is up and running and customers have been able to get solar power without rooftops since January 1.
