4.3 kilowatts – Small wind turbines at two locations as part of the Utah School Wind Project, include educational plaques at each school. Three Peaks Elementary (1.8 kilowatts) in Cedar City, Utah was one of the first of its kind at a Utah school and complements the school's existing geothermal heating and cooling system. Cyprus High School in Granite School District is 2.5 kilowatts. Both projects provide a tool to teach students about renewable energy technologies.
