Utah Field House of Natural History

Utah Field House Solar

The Utah Field House, open to the public since 1959, is a showcase of eastern Utah's geologic past and natural history. Its main features are the museum and the Dinosaur Garden. Approximately 45,000 visitors come to the Field House each year including families, school groups and paleontologists.

This project is a 56.2-kilowatt ground-mounted solar array. The primary goal of this project is to increase awareness of renewables and show alternatives to fossil fuels.

Museum will partner with local college to use project as a demonstration of PV in the area, museum staff has been educated on the project to help educate the museum visitors.
