Solar at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Parish

Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Parish's (St. Joseph’s) 13.75-kilowatt, roof-top solar array atop the main church building helps the congregation practice their environmental and sustainable energy beliefs while reducing their operating expense – allowing more funds to go toward community outreach programs. St. Joseph’s is a place of worship that serves more than 1,000 and supports those of need in the community. More than 5,000 visitors attend meetings and community programs at the church facilities, such as a seniors group, women’s group, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, addict recovery meetings and religious education class.
