Park City Police Department Solar

This 22-kilowatt solar array consisting of 88 panels sits atop the roof of the Park City Police facility and complements a wide variety of energy efficiency measures that have already been integrated into the building. Some of these features are a geothermal heat pump for heating, cooling and low-flow water fixtures and energy efficient lighting. This highly visible installation in downtown Park City is one of the largest municipal-owned solar arrays in Summit County and supports the City’s larger carbon reduction goal.

The City will promote renewable energy education through on-site tours of the solar array and interactive system monitoring display.
