Ivins City – Fire Station Phase 2

Ivins City Firestation Phase 2

52 solar panels (13.8-kilowatts) were added to an existing 2.8-kilowatt Blue Sky-funded solar array at the City’s Fire Station, bringing the total size of the roof-mounted project up to 16.6 kilowatts. The City sees this project as an educational tool for their residents while reducing their operating costs. The goals of installing this project include reducing the city’s carbon footprint and demonstrating leadership in the community. The generation information from the installation can be viewed via a display on the wall in the City Hall lobby. (Best viewed in Google Chrome)
