Granite School District – Cottonwood High School

Cottonwood High Solar

This 17.6-kilowatt solar array is installed on the roof of Cottonwood High School, one of Murray’s largest and most spacious campuses in the state, serving more than 1,600 students and employing more than 140 staff.

This renewable energy project creates a real-world laboratory for the general student population and those enrolled in the on-campus charter school. The AMES charter school has a technology focus, similar to a STEM school and focuses on early college preparation for students.
