Rocky Mountain Power Holding Info Sessions on Gateway West Transmission Line Project

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. – Rocky Mountain Power is inviting the community to attend information sessions regarding a proposed transmission project.

The utility is proposing to construct and operate 191 miles of high-voltage transmission lines and substation facilities as a part of the Gateway West Transmission Line Project and the Energy Vision 2020 plan.

The transmission lines and substation facilities will be located entirely in Carbon and Sweetwater counties, with construction scheduled to begin in April 2019.

Members of the public are invited to attend informational meetings to learn more about the project as well as the transportation, labor, and housing impacts. Attendees can also talk to a member of the project team and share feedback on the project.
