But Rocky Mountain Power is making it easy for you to keep costs low and manage your home’s energy consumption by providing customers with access to energy assessments and custom cost savings tips based on individual use.

By going to wattsmart.com/tools and submitting your information, customers can access a number of tools aimed at cutting energy costs specific to individual homes. This includes:

  • Usage information that shows a breakdown of what activities in your home use the most energy i.e. cooling, appliances, lighting etc.
  • Home energy assessments to help you determine how you use energy and provides specific actions you can take to reduce consumption
  • Bill comparisons allows you to compare your current bill to the previous month and the same month from the previous year
  • Home Comparisons that shows how your energy usage compares to neighbors with similar type homes

“We want to provide our customers with useful tools that help them monitor their usage and save money on their bill,” said Bill Comeau, Rocky Mountain Power director of customer solutions. “When customers proactively take steps to conserve energy, it helps keep costs low for everyone.”
