South Salt Lake Columbus Community Center (City of South Salt Lake, Utah) 8.77 kw, Solar
A roof mounted solar system was installed on the community center that includes a library, gym, auditorium, meeting rooms and senior center. The Columbus Center building is not only a community landmark, but a gathering place for several groups in the Salt Lake City community which provides many opportunities to educate center visitors via a public display and host local schools’ field trips.
Project completed July 2010.
