Segment F - Aeolus to Mona
Project Overview
On behalf of PacifiCorp, we are committed to providing safe, reliable, cost-effective power and has proposed a project to establish a new high-voltage transmission line stretching approximately 400 miles from Aeolus, a new substation planned in prime wind generation country near Medicine Bow, Wyoming; through northwest Colorado, continuing to a new substation near Mona, Utah.
This proposed line segment is part of Gateway South, PacifiCorp's transmission expansion project. Our company will work to create the most benefits for customers, fulfill all appropriate siting and permitting requirements, and minimize impacts to the community and local environment from project development, construction and maintenance.

- Environmental Impact Statement – December 2008-2015
- Estimated line in service for customers – 2017-2019
