Wind and solar energy – you hear about these green technologies all the time, but have you ever seen them up close for yourself? Well, here’s your chance! Join us Friday, September 30 on the 2011 Blue Sky Renewable Energy Projects Tour.
We’ll visit the Swaner EcoCenter in Park City, Utah, featuring a 6.6-kilowatt solar array among other leading energy and environmental features. We’ll also take a bus ride to the Mountain Wind Power Project in southwest Wyoming, where you’ll learn about the development and operation of a utility-scale wind project and even step inside a 259-foot tall wind turbine.
