We offer special services, bill assistance and time payment plans for customers experiencing financial hardships. For questions
about payment plan eligibility or if you are experiencing difficulty making payments, please call 1-888-221-7070.
We also work with local nonprofit agencies that help customers in need pay their electricity bills. To qualify for financial
assistance, please call the agency in your area:
Utah
- HEAT Assistance program – If your income meets HEAT Assistance guidelines, you may also be eligible for a credit on your Rocky Mountain Power bill. Mention
this to the HEAT Assistance Office when applying for financial assistance and they will also assist you in enrolling for the
bill credit.
- Lend A Hand – Rocky Mountain Power’s customers generously donate to this program and Rocky Mountain Power contributes donations
as well to provide energy assistance to households in need. Due to funding limitations, households with senior and disabled
family members are given priority. The program is administered by the American Red Cross, and they can be reached at 1-800-328-9272

- Utah Weatherization Program – The Utah Department of Community & Culture offers weatherization services at no cost to income
qualifying households. For information, please call 1-877-488-3233.

The Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership and the SouthEastern Idaho Community Action Agency also offer free weatherization
services to income-qualifying customers. Depending on your heat source, you may be eligible for upgrades on insulation, refrigerator
replacements, compact fluorescent light bulbs and measures that improve water heating efficiency.
