LAYTON, Utah — Utah Power’s charitable arm, the PacifiCorp Foundation for Learning, awarded $6,283 to United Way of Davis County this spring. The funding matches local Utah Power employee donations from the utility’s 2005 employee giving campaign for a total contribution of more than $12,000.

The PacifiCorp Foundation combined with employees from across Utah to give more than $350,000 to United Way organizations statewide.

“United Way of Davis County plays a vital role in our communities, helping to meet the needs of residents who are in difficult circumstances,” said Steve Rush, Utah Power regional community manager. “We are pleased to be able to provide support through both individual employee donations and with matching dollars from the PacifiCorp Foundation.”
