REXBURG, Idaho — The PacifiCorp Foundation for Learning, the charitable arm of Utah Power, awarded more than $8,000 to Idaho
organizations this spring for three community capital projects and a program to help protect children.
“We are pleased to partner with organizations and communities through the PacifiCorp Foundation to support efforts that will
make a positive difference for Idaho residents,” said Glen Pond, Utah Power’s regional community manager. “In addition to
our key focus of providing safe and reliable electric service to our customers, Utah Power is committed to active participation
in communities the utility serves.”
Foundation funding will benefit the following:

City of Rexburg– Funding will aid construction of the Veterans Freedom Memorial in Rexburg’s Smith Park to honor military veterans from Idaho
and throughout the nation;

Help, Inc.– Funding will provide equipment for the Snake River Children’s Advocacy Center, an Idaho Falls facility designed to assist
children suffering from child abuse;

Ashton Memorial, Inc.– Funding will help supply new vinyl siding and trim for the Gustafson House, a group foster home facility, and
-
Judicial District VII CASA Program– Funding will assist in providing for the safety of abused and neglected children.
The PacifiCorp Foundation awards four regular grant cycles each year in the areas of health and human services, education,
