Washington Recreation - Rules & Regulations

Lewis River campground and day use information and regulations:

Vehicle/Parking

  • The speed limit in all recreation areas is 10 miles per hour.
  • Parking is permitted in designated areas only.
  • Use only designated roadways and paths. (applies to bikes, hiking, etc.)
  • The use of motorbikes, ORVs and snowmobiles is not allowed in recreation areas.

Rules

  • Alcohol is not permitted in any Pacific Power campground or day use area.
  • All applicable laws regarding public safety, illegal substances, sanitation, boating and fires will be enforced.
  • All fires shall be confined to company fireplaces or manufactured grills. Fireworks and other flammable materials are not permitted.
  • The discharge of firearms or other devices discharging projectiles within or near any recreation area is not permitted.
  • Damage to trees, vegetation or facilities is not permitted. Wildlife is not to be disturbed.
  • Operation of public address systems or other noise producing devices is not permitted except with prior written approval. Campsite quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Pets are to be under owner’s control at all times and physically restrained by leashes no more than six feet in length. Pet owners are required to clean up and appropriately dispose of animal waste.
  • Commercial use of the property, including offers of commercial services on or pertaining to recreation sites, is not permitted without prior written permission. Commercial use includes vending merchandise, site rentals, equipment sales or rentals, advertising, providing services, etc.
  • Place bottles, cans, paper, garbage and other rubbish or refuse in receptacles for that purpose.
  • Violators of policies are subject to removal and prosecution.
  • Park users who violate rules will be asked to leave, and thereafter, will be subject to trespass and prosecution if they enter company property.
