If you are planning to replace your home's cooling system or install a new system, please let our 2009 Cool Cash Incentive
program help you make an informed decision – and give you cash for your pocket!
Did you know that Utah’s climate is ideally suited for evaporative cooling, which can lead to significant savings on your
summer electricity costs compared to a central air conditioning system?
If you’re planning to install a new central air conditioner, did you know that you need to consider proper equipment sizing,
selection, installation, operation and maintenance in addition to equipment efficiencies to help ensure your comfort and the
efficient operation of your air conditioner?
Learn more about the 2009 Cool Cash Incentive program below. You can also contact your local
participating dealer, call 1-866-428-2665 or send an
e-mail to the program administrator. Incentives are available for a
limited time only
so don’t hesitate to take advantage of this offer.

Limitations Incentives are limited to two per qualifying household per eligible measure. Customers may apply for evaporative equipment incentives and/or central air

can qualify for any one or more of the three central air conditioning measures listed in the above.
Window air conditioning units, packaged terminal units and heat pumps are not eligible for incentives under the 2009 Cool
Cash Incentive program. Only qualifying equipment purchased and installed after January 1, 2009 is eligible for incentives.
Qualifying equipment receiving incentives under the 2009 Cool Cash Incentive program may not receive equipment purchase and
installation incentives under other Rocky Mountain Power programs. In addition, Rocky Mountain Power customers issued incentives
in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 Cool Cash Incentive programs are not eligible to receive incentives for additional
equipment installed at the same address under the 2009 program.
Application verification To help maintain quality control, we will conduct random inspections to verify the accuracy and validity of incentive applications.
Customer incentives associated with applications that have been selected for inspection will not be processed until the inspection
has been satisfactorily completed. Inspections may be performed after incentive payments have been processed at our discretion.
